TA ČR announced the SIGMA SHUV call with DL 18. 3. 2026.
Applicants will choose one research topic from 4 areas in their project proposal. In the project proposal, they will describe how their project proposal fulfills the focus of this research topic. Applicants must indicate how they respond to the presented type of real problem and what specific changes or benefits their proposed solutions should bring.
It is desirable to connect SHUV (the core of the project) with technologies and technological research, and proposals should strive for interdisciplinary cooperation.

This seminar introduces a new methodology for ensuring knowledge security at Masaryk University, explains why this area is crucial for both research and support teams, and offers practical steps to minimize the risks of losing or misusing know-how.
The Czech Science Foundation (GA ČR), in cooperation with the Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR), is announcing a call for project proposals based on the Lead Agency evaluation principle with the expected start of the solution in 2027. GA ČR acts as a partner organization in this call - the projects are evaluated by the FNR and GA ČR accepts the evaluation results.
On January 6, 2026, from 9 a.m., a webinar will be held on the submission of interim and final reports, organized by TA ČR.
The webinar will focus primarily on the most frequent and recurring errors, specific requirements for expert reports and annexes in individual public competitions, open access or financial reporting.

New obligation when creating a proposal in ISEP:
The Basic Data tab contains a signpost (Knowledge security YES x NO) that decides whether the Security tab will be generated (in the case of a risky field or cooperation with a risky state, a citizen of such a state).
The Security tab contains more detailed information and after filling it in, the data must be saved and submitted for comment (recommendation x non-recommendation) to the security manager no later than 14 days before submitting the project proposal.
Changes in the project - individual consultation with the security manager is required. The tab cannot be edited after submission for comment.
