AKTION Czech Republic – Austria
The purpose of the grant is to support the implementation of at least one of the activities listed below, provided they are of bilateral or regional interest regarding the current and/or future development of both countries and/or their historical roots:
- projects fostering long-term cooperation;
- joint academic events for students, such as seminars or field trips;
- joint bilateral academic events, such as symposia, specialist meetings, and workshops;
- preparatory phases for double-degree programs;
- research stays for the purpose of gathering scientific data;
- financial support for publishing outputs from completed cooperation projects under the AKCE program;
- summer schools, i.e., summer language courses in Czech and German;
- specialized summer schools in various scientific disciplines;
- academic exchanges for the purpose of conducting educational activities within the host institution's Master’s and doctoral study programs.
For all activities, priority is given to early-career researchers (young researchers, i.e., those within 10 years of successfully completing their doctoral studies).
