Within the framework of international cooperation in basic research, GA CR announces a call for joint project proposals with the Austrian agency FWF evaluated on the principle of Lead Agency thematically focused on the current pandemic COVID-19.
The Technology Agency of the Czech Republic together with the Ministry of Transport of the Czech Republic announced the second call for the support of applied research, experimental development and innovation in the field of transport - TRANSPORT 2020+.
Project proposals focusing on emergency management topics such as the current COVID-19 pandemic are welcome.
TA CR is preparing a new call ETA with COVID topic. This call will be announced on April, 29.
The topic of the call is to mitigate negative societal impacts and take advantage of new opportunities to respond to the effects of the COVID-19 crisis, particularly in the social, educational, economic and cultural spheres.

The aim of the 4th call is to achieve new knowledge and new or improved technologies that will enable the components of the integrated rescue system of the Czech Republic to acquire, maintain and develop specific capabilities needed to manage crisis situations in case of epidemiological threats or releases of biological agents or toxins.
The aim of the 4th call is to support projects that use knowledge, experience or data from the ongoing societal situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and whose results will significantly help increase the resilience of society and successfully deal not only with this crisis but also similar crises in the future.
The objective of the Programme is to enhance the research-based knowledge development through international collaboration in applied research and innovation (improvement of international knowledge transfer, good practice and know-how and to facilitate the penetration to foreign markets).

The aim of sub-program 1 is to simplify, improve and streamline public administration and to improve management and regulation in the field of the environment.
Sub-program 1 focuses on addressing issues with local, regional and societal impacts, the results of which can be used mainly in public administration (eGovernment, digitization, regulatory optimization, reduction of administrative burdens) and for the creation, implementation and control of strategic and conceptual documents.

The Technology Agency of the Czech Republic (TA CR) is preparing the 4th public tender of the Program for the Support of Applied Research, Experimental Development and Innovation in the Field of the Environment - Environment for Life, Subprogramme 3.
The announcement is planned for September 9, 2020.
The RMU Research Department organizes an internal seminar on the implementation of TA CR projects from the signing of the contract to the end of the project, including the addition of practical aspects to the manual for implemented TA CR projects. The seminar will be designed primarily for scientists who are starting with TA CR projects.
The seminar will take place on October 8, 2020 from 2 p.m. in the RMU Grand Meeting Room.

This competition is announced only for research topic No. 7 - Socio-economic research in the field of environment.
The project consortium must consist of a minimum of three applicants and only one best project will be supported.

The Czech Science Foundation (GA CR) announces a call for projects based on the Lead Agency evaluation principle. The call concerns projects in cooperation with the Polish NCN agency within the CEUS initiative.

The aim of the event held on October 16, 2020 is to inform researchers about news in the field of Open Science - such as the current state of the European Open Science Cloud and recommendations and tools in the field of data management (Data Managment Plan - DMP).
