The aim of sub-program 1 is to simplify, improve and streamline public administration and to improve management and regulation in the field of the environment.

Sub-program 1 focuses on addressing issues with local, regional and societal impacts, the results of which can be used mainly in public administration (eGovernment, digitization, regulatory optimization, reduction of administrative burdens) and for the creation, implementation and control of strategic and conceptual documents.

Objectives

Priority research objectives (their specific objectives are defined in Annex 1):

No. 1 - Contribute to adaptation to climate change and the introduction of cost-effective mitigation measures

No. 2 - Contribute to the improvement of environmental components and support the introduction of the principles of the circular economy (circular economy)

No. 3 - Promote a resilient and secure society and nature

Limitations

Application guarantor is not required in the project, however, within the project it is necessary to prove the results:

• there is interest in the planned results of the project (e.g. Letter of intent);

• the interest shown is linked to specific activities in the performance of public administration in the field of the environment;

• part of the well-thought-out application is also the promise of cooperation of the public administration in putting the result into practice (eg the promise of pilot testing, certification, provision of cooperation).

Project budget is up to 12M CZK

Funding rate is up to 85 %; support for research organizations and organizational units of the state 100%; companies have support according to the size and activities of applied research and experimental development

Applicant (main and other) may be a research organization, enterprise or organizational unit of the state

Beginning of the project 01/01 – 01/07/2021 recommended to start later than 1.1.
