The Austrian Science Fund (FWF) and The Czech Science Foundation (GA CR) announce a call for the submission of bilateral Austrian-Czech joint research projects.

Objectives

Projects can have a duration of up to three years.

Joint proposals must be submitted via the FWF Elane system. Czech applicant should then fill in an application in GRIS, should attach FWF proposal in PDF and send via a data box to GA CR.  

FWF takes the role of the “Lead Agency” and it is in charge of carrying out the peer review procedure. Basic information about LA projects in English here. The project must be recommended by both agencies.

The two project parts will be funded separately by FWF and GA CR respectively.

Limitations

The workload on the project is recommended at least 30% for the drafter, at least 20% for the codrafter and 10% for other professionals.

The sum of all workloads allocated for all projects supported by GA CR may not exceed 100% for a single employee.
