Preparing of Open Science training for researchers and students of FSS MU

Objectives

On January 1, 2020 Masaryk University started a new three-year project coordinated by The Institute of Computer Science with the goal to develop institutional policy, infrastructure and systematic support for Open Science at Masaryk University

Project activities include:
1. To create the university strategy including standards and tools for Open Science
2. To develop support mechanisms for researchers
3. To develop Open Science Team of University specialist represented at each economic unit to help researchers with their needs

Faculty of Social Studies of Masaryk University is involved in the project through its Central library where operates faculty Open Science coordinator Mrs. Marika Hruba (openscience@fss.muni.cz).

Open Science training for researchers and students of FSS MU
The training will be focused on definitions, current trends, and services related to Open Access to scientific information. The content of the training is divided into three main parts:
1. Open Access
2. Research data
3. Current state of art of Open Science at MU and FSS MU

In the end, there will be a discussion and section for individual questions.

We will inform you about the date of the training according to the development of the current coronavirus situation.
