The call in the program THETA - The Technology Agency of the Czech Republic

The THETA programme supports applied research, experimental development and innovation. The aim of the programme is to contribute to fulfilling the vision of transformation and modernization of the energy sector.

Objectives

The programme is divided into three sub-programmes (more information in English here)

Sub-programme 1 - Research in the public interest, the level of support 90%

Sub-programme 2 - Strategic energy technologies, the level of support 60%

Sub-programme 3 - Long-term technological perspectives, the level of support 90%

Limitations

Project proposals have to be prepared in Czech (ISTA - information system).

Co-financing is necessary (the level of support 60-90% according to the sub-programme).

The duration of the projects: sub-programme 1 and 2: 12-48 months, sub-programme 3: 36-80 months.
