The Technology Agency of the Czech Republic announced, in cooperation with the Ministry of Transport, on April 26, 2023, the first public competition in the DOPRAVA/TRANSPORT 2030 program for the support of applied research and innovation in the field of transport.

The main goal of the program is to develop the transport sector in a way that will reflect social needs, accelerate the technological and knowledge development of the Czech Republic and thus help the growth of the Czech Republic's competitiveness.

Objectives

Each project proposal must fulfill one of the program's specific objectives:
○ Sustainable, accessible and safe transport
○ Automation, digitization and technologically advanced transport
○ Low-emission and ecological transport - only project proposals that are focused on research and development of emission-free transport

Limitations

The project proposal must not be focused on research or development of vehicles with an internal combustion engine.

Each project proposal must have at least one application guarantor (internal or external - proof of interest attached) from the Czech Republic.

Project proposal must be written in Czech/Slovak.

Start of implementation: January 2024 at the earliest and February 2024 at the latest

Duration of implementation: 12 – 30 months

Maximum amount of support per project: CZK 25 million

Maximum intensity of support per project: 80%, research organization up to 100%

Overhead 25%

VAT is an ineligible expense, it will be paid by the applicant's workplace.
