The aim of the call is to increase the level of human capital and the educational base.
The projects are intended to strengthen cooperation between the Czech Republic and donor countries (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway) between institutions at all levels of education, with an emphasis on the themes of democracy and active citizenship in teaching.

Objectives

Cooperation activities between institutions in the Czech Republic and in donor countries (Liechtenstein, Norway, Iceland):

• modernize or innovate curricula and create joint study programs and courses, or
• to support the development and sharing of innovative practices through mutual learning and the exchange of examples of good practice in teaching methods, including those that put into practice the principles of an open society and prevent discrimination in schools.

Expected outputs of the project:
Curricula, teaching materials, studies or events such as WS and training

Special attention should be paid to inclusive education, equal treatment and respect for human rights, or to promoting civic engagement and media literacy in schools. Priority will be given to projects aimed at introducing new teaching methods in the field of democracy and active citizenship or inclusive education.

Limitations

Start of the project: August 1, 2021
Duration of the project: 12 or 24 months

Support for up to 100% of project costs.
Min amount per project 20000 EUR
Max amount per project 150000 EUR

Eligible costs: travel costs, salary, subsistence costs, costs of international meetings, project management, organization of dissemination events, etc.

Max one application per faculty, the application is submitted in English.

Information for applicants at MU
The intention to submit a project application to the calls is subject to approval by the MU management. The approval is based on the submitted brief annotation of the project, stating that HS will provide the necessary funds to co-finance the project.
