The call aims to increase the involvement of beginning researchers in all areas of applied research when solving specific projects directly with subjects from applied practice.  Another goal is to promote the equalization of opportunities for women and men in applied research competition.

Objectives

Project proposals must contribute to the involvement of beginning researchers in research and development activities aimed at using the results in practice and increase their interest in projects with a concrete practical impact.

Limitations

Key persons of the research team in the role of principal researcher/additional researcher/member of the research team must meet the definition of a beginning researcher. These are persons under the age of 35 or studying bachelor's, master's, doctoral studies or graduates, if no more than 5 years have passed since the first proper completion of the highest degree of study. Min 3 such key persons in the team, meeting the criteria by 5.4.2023. Gender-balanced team.

There may be a mentor in the team - he leads, motivates the team, max 1, does not participate directly in the project, max 50 thousand. CZK/year as personnel costs for him/her.

In the project proposal, at least one enterprise and at least one research organization must be involved.

Start of implementation: January 2024

Duration of implementation: 12-24 months

Maximum amount of support per project: 5 million CZK

Maximum aid intensity per project: 85%

Main applicant: only an entity that has its registered office in the Czech Republic; Another participant: an entity based in a member state of the European Union (including the Czech Republic), in another state forming the European Economic Area or in the Swiss Confederation.

Project proposal must be written in Czech.
