The intention of the call is to select joint research projects of applied research, focusing on the following areas/sub-areas:

1. Computer and information sciences; 2. Engineering and technology in specialization: Materials research, Nanotechnology; 3. Social sciences; 4. Humanities and arts.

The duration of supported projects is set at 2.5 years.

Objectives

Proposals for joint projects will be submitted simultaneously by the Czech part of the research team to providers in the Czech Republic and the Bavarian part of the research team to providers in the Free State of Bavaria (Federal Republic of Germany), subject to compliance with the specific requirements and procedures of each party.

Evidence of the intention of cooperation between the Czech applicant and his Bavarian partner for the solution of the research project will be documented by the applicant with a "Letter of Intent" attached to the project proposal.

Projects are prepared in the ISIX application (in Czech), the signature of the statutory representative is required on the title page.

Limitations

Only a research institution can be an applicant and an Additional Participant on the Czech side.

Maximum support for the Czech part of the project is CZK 5.5 million, support up to 100%

Approximately 15 projects are expected to be supported.
