Objectives

Subprogramme 1 - Operational research in the public interest (mandatory application guarantor, 12-36 months, 85% aid intensity per project)

Sub-programme 1 is mainly aimed at expert support for the performance of public administration in the field of the environment. Project proposals are intended to contribute to simplifying, improving and streamlining public administration and improving environmental management and regulation. We expect project proposals to be based on the needs of public administration in the field of the environment or to offer results that will be used by public administration in particular in the development or implementation of strategic and conceptual documents.

Sub-programme 2 - Eco-innovations, technologies and practices for environmental protection (24-33 months, 80% aid intensity per project)

The first sub-objective of sub-programme 2 is to support eco-innovation and technologies and techniques in technical environmental protection, transfer of technologies, experience and knowledge base from research organisations to enterprises, especially SMEs. The second sub-objective is to provide procedures to minimise the risks arising from poor environmental quality to human health, their environment and nature.

Limitations

The specific focus of this call for proposals is determined by the so-called priority research objectives. The project proposal must fulfil one priority research objective as the main one. In addition, the applicant may indicate up to three secondary priority research objectives which are partially fulfilled by the project proposal.
