The aim of the call is to support cooperation projects of Czech and Austrian educational institutions of the tertiary sector.
Application deadline: March 15 (for the period of project implementation from July 1 to December 31, 2025).

Objectives
The focus of support is on activities whose topics relate to bilateral or regional interest for current development, for the future development of Austria and the Czech Republic or their historical roots. Projects must be beneficial for both partners.
Types of supported projects
Projects that are used for long-term cooperation
Joint scientific events for students such as seminars or professional excursions
Joint bilateral scientific events such as symposia, expert meetings and workshops
Preparatory phase for dual degree programs
Research stays to acquire scientific materials
Financial support for publishing outputs from already completed projects
Summer colleges, i.e. summer language courses in Czech and German
Summer professional schools from various scientific disciplines
Academic exchange for the purpose of carrying out educational events within the master's and doctoral study programs of the host institution

For all supported activities, priority is given to young researchers (up to 10 years after completing their doctoral studies).
Eligible costs are accommodation costs (accommodation and meals), scholarships, travel costs in CZK, fees for teaching activities, publication costs, other costs and overhead costs (only Czech universities can apply for overhead costs, only 10%!). Salary costs are not reimbursed, with the exception of scholarships and tuition fees.

MU submits one summary application in each term, which includes individual project proposals signed by the dean of the MU faculty and a representative of the Austrian institution.
