TA CR, in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense, announced the first public competition in the Program for the Support of Applied Research and Innovation in the Defense Industry PRODEF, sub-programme 2 "National Public Competitions in Defense Research".

The call is aimed at supporting applied research and innovation projects in the field of modern emerging and breakthrough technologies that can be used for the needs of the Army of the Czech Republic. The results of the projects will have a high potential for application in a number of civil and military areas, so-called dual use (use for civil and military purposes).

Objectives

Priority Research Objectives - Each proposal must meet one of the following objectives:

An effective mechanism enabling the Department of the Ministry of Defense of the Czech Republic to optimize the recruitment and retention of personnel in the years 2030-2040 (hereinafter also referred to as "RECRUITMENT");

Development of a standardized stress model for the purpose of verifying the anti-stress effects of dietary supplements based on biological function modulators (hereinafter also referred to as "STRESS");

Development of a prototype of a portable radar system for imaging metal projectiles in the human body (hereinafter also referred to as "RADAR");

Control of operations of autonomous means (air, land and water) with advanced communication techniques and autonomous operation in swarms (hereinafter also referred to as "ROBOTICS");

Support for virtual and augmented reality and simulation for the needs of EOD units (hereafter referred to as “EOD”);

A shared picture of the situation in cyberspace, tools for detecting threats in cyberspace and analytical tools for the information environment (hereinafter also referred to as "CYBER").

Project support max 70%

The consortium must include at least one enterprise (e.g. non-profit organizations, associations, contribution organizations, state organizational units, territorial self-governing units)

Implementation 12-36 months

The application guarantor is the Ministry of Defence, the application for a guarantee must be sent to the Ministry of Defense by 22 November 2024.
