Internal call CTT MU - Support for projects in the Proof of Concept (PoC) phase

On August 28, 2025, the MU Technology Transfer Center will announce an internal call for projects in the Proof of Concept (PoC) phase funded by the TA CR Sigma program.

Call focus: Verification of applied research results in terms of their practical application and preparation of their subsequent commercial use or use for the needs of society. The call is not thematically limited.

Objectives

The subject of the submitted sub-projects is to verify the practical usability of the result of applied research and development achieved in the research organization.

The sub-project will contain a declaration of specific outputs/results including the intended schedule leading to the achievement of outputs/results, the planned budget, and the research team.

It is expected that the sub-projects will contribute to the systematic verification of the application potential of the achieved research and development results in cases where their final commercial use is not yet completely clear or a specific partner in the application sphere is not known and their application potential has yet to be verified.

Limitations

Call end: October 6, 2025

Period of PoC projects: 6–30 months (max. 6–24 months)

Start of PoC projects: January 2026

Amount of financial support: up to 3 million CZK (max. 0.5 million CZK – 1.5 million CZK)

Maximum intensity of support for PoC projects: 80% (20% co-financing)

Presentation of project proposals at the CTT: October 21, 2025

Required main outputs/results of sub-projects:

P – patent,

G – technically implemented results – prototype, functional sample

Z – pilot operation, verified technology

R – software

F – industrial and utility model

O – other results

Hneleg – results reflected in directives and regulations of a non-legislative nature binding within the scope of competence of the relevant provider

Hkonc – results reflected in approved strategic and conceptual documents of state or public administration bodies;

NmetA* – methodologies and procedures accredited by an authorized body

NmetS* – methodology approved by the relevant state administration body, within whose competence the given issue falls

NmetC* – methodology certified by an authorized body

Nmap* – specialized map with expert content

Npam* – monument procedure

Nlec – treatment procedure

* open access is required for these results

Secondary outputs/results in combination with one of the main results:

S – specialized public database

A – audiovisual production

M – organization of a conference

W – organization of a workshop

E – organization of an exhibition
