The subject of the public tender is the selection of proposals for applied research and experimental development projects.

The main goal of the OPSEC Program: to systematically stimulate and develop the interest of the research and innovation sphere in participating in solving security challenges for a modern society and thus form the basis for the development of competitive security innovations.

Objectives

Sub-objectives
Each project should lead to results whose future deployment in practice has the potential to contribute to meeting at least 1 of the following objectives:
1. streamlining planning, coordination and regulation (ie streamlining crisis preparedness) situations / incidents / social phenomena);
2. increasing the availability of security system services (ie scope or quality or speed reaction);
3. Reducing the threat (ie reducing the likelihood of negative impacts of the crisis situation / incident / phenomenon);
4. streamlining early warning (especially extending response time, increasing reliability warning);
5. enhancing the security of those involved, including investigations and expertise;
6. increase the effectiveness of intervening activities, including investigations and expertise;
7. mitigation of consequences (ie limitation of the intensity and extent of impacts of a crisis situation / incident / phenomenon).

Limitations

Implementation period 24-48 months.

The project proposal can be submitted by one applicant or several applicants in cooperation.

Up to 100% support for eligible costs. for a research organization, for a company max 80% according to the size and type of research.

Maximum amount of support / project CZK 50 million.

Overhead: max 10% flat rate or full cost.
