Visegrad Grants

Visegrad Grants is a grant program run and financed by the International Visegrad Fund aimed at fostering cooperation between the V4 countries (Czechia, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia).

Proposals are accepted regularly three times per year always by February 1, June 1 and October 1.

Objectives

Visegrad Grants: at least 3 V4 countries
Visegrad+ Grants: at least 3 V4 countries and 1 entity from the EaP region or the Western Balkans countries at minimum regardless of the applicant
Strategic Grants: organizations from all V4 countries

Culture and Common Identity 2. Education and Capacity Building 3. Innovation, R&D, Entrepreneurship 4. Democratic Values and the Media 5. Public Policy and Institutional Partnership 6. Regional Development, Environment and Tourism 7. Social Development.

Priorities of Strategic grants (Sustainability of ideals from 1989; 15+ Years of the V4 in the EU; New impetus to the Eastern Partnership and EU enlargement (Western Balkans).

Limitations

Maximum duration of project - 18 months (Strategic grants 12-36 months).
Budget - cca from 8 000 to 40 000 EUR. Grants can cover up to 100% of project budget with 15% for overheads (co-financing is allowed and encouraged).
Organizations with running projects cannot apply in the same grant program again until the previous project is concluded. It is, however, possible to be a partner in any number of projects.

A grantee can have a maximum of two running projects at the same time, in different grant schemes.
