The LUAUS26 public competition will accept proposals for joint Czech-American projects in the categories of basic research, industrial research, or experimental development, focusing on all scientific areas.

Objectives

The Czech applicant participates in a public competition in the Czech Republic (provided by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports), while its foreign partner participates in a similar selection process with a foreign provider.  A joint commission from both parties then proposes projects for support.

Limitations

Start of the project: no earlier than 1. 3. 2026

End: no later than 31. 12. 2029

Duration of the project: 3-4 years

Maximum amount of support not specified (it is expected to support approximately 35 projects)

A Letter of Intent with a promise of cooperation must be attached to the proposal
