The objectives of the new program are aimed at higher application of strategic priorities of R & D & I of the Czech Republic, systematic improvement of the quality of R & D & I in the Czech Republic, more intensive cooperation of companies and research organizations on international research and human resources in R & D & I.

Objectives

The INTER-ACTION sub-program is designed to support international cooperation projects, will be open to projects in all categories of research and will allow the participation of research organizations and companies. Of course, the traditional partnerships of the Czech Republic (eg with the USA, Israel, etc.) will be subjected in the first place so that it is possible to establish successful and long-term cooperation; in the current program currently adversely affected by the pandemic situation.

The INTER-COST sub-program serves to involve Czech entities in the international COST program, a unique mechanism of multilateral cooperation in all categories of research with an impact on partners from 38 member states and one cooperating. From the point of view of the Czech Republic, the combination of national research support in the INTER-COST sub-program and support for coordination and meetings of researchers by the international COST program within a specific COST action represents a clear synergistic effect, which in addition to its own R & D & I results (demanding multilateral) levels into the beneficiaries' own research strategies.

Limitations

The project solution period will be a maximum of 5 years. The total costs of projects for the duration of the program will reach CZK 4,178 million, of which CZK 3,766 million (ie 90%) are expenditures from the state budget. Details of specific activities in the new program will be published on the website of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports.
