The Czech Science Foundation (GA CR) announces a call for projects based on the Lead Agency evaluation principle, with an implementation expected to begin in 2023 in cooperation with the Polish National Science Center (NCN) within the Weave initiative.

In this call, the Polish agency NCN acts as the Lead Agency, ie it evaluates project proposals and the GA CR takes over the results of the evaluation process.

It is possible to submit bilateral and trilateral projects (possible partner countries here).

Objectives

The proposal is submitted by the Polish NCN according to their rules by 15.12.2021. The Czech  partner must fill in the GRIS application (information on the applicant, team members, budget and enclose the proposal submitted by the Polish partner) by 22.12.2021.

Limitations

Important information: these projects will start in 2023. If you submit the project with the Polish partner as a Czech applicant, you cannot submit a proposal as an applicant in the GA CR call, which will be announced in February 2022. In that Czech GA CR call, you could submit a proposal only as a co-applicant (ie the proposal would be submitted by another institution in the Czech Republic and MU would be a partner).
