GA CR announced calls for proposals for standard and international projects, JUNIOR STAR projects and new POSTDOC INDIVIDUAL FELLOWSHIP.

The deadline of the calls is on April 22, 2021.

The announcement of the calls results is expected by December 6, 2021.

JUNIOR STAR

• aims at excelent scientists at the beginning of their career to establish an independent group
• for excellent junior researcher up to 8 years after PhD (PhD awarded after 30.9.2013 or PhD will be awarded before 30.9.2021)
• the Applicant - an author of articles in prestigious international journals and must already have substantial international experience
• max CZK 25 million per project

POSTDOC INDIVIDUAL FELLOWSHIP OUTGOING

• applicant should be an outstanding researcher in his/her early career up to 4 years after PhD (PhD awarded after 30.9.2017 or will be awarded until 30.9. 2021) 
• the expected duration of the fellowship is 730 days abroad (minimum 670 days abroad, at one institution only)
• after the completion of the fellowship abroad, the applicant must continue to carry out the project at the institution of the beneficiary in CR for a minimum of 365 days

POSTDOC INDIVIDUAL FELLOWSHIP INCOMING 3 years

• applicants should be outstanding researchers in the early stages of their careers up to 4 years after PhD (PhD awarded after 30.9.2017 or will be awarded until 30.9. 2021)
• with long-term experience abroad in basic research (a minimum of 2 of the last 3 years)

In tune with the Directive No. 5/2015 Research Ethics at MU all research activities at MU are carried out with the intent to meet the criteria of high professional quality and socially beneficial goals. The Ethics Committee for Research, an independent multidisciplinary body of MU, is an integral part of the system for ensuring quality and compliance with ethical standards in research at MU.

Human resources vision and strategic goals relevant to The European Charter for Researchers & the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers' principles are integrated into the MU Strategic Plan for 2021- 2028. In December 2020, the Faculty of Social Studies MU sent documents about implementing the HRS4R personnel strategy to the European Commission. Obtaining the HR Award certificate is expected during 2021.
