Small Projects Fund - the Czech Republic and Austria

The Small Projects Fund is a tool aimed at supporting projects with a small financial volume and local significance that have a cross-border impact. The Fund is part of the INTERREG V-A Austria – Czech Republic programme.

Objectives

 

The Small Projects Fund in the Czech-Austria border area is implemented as a single joint project covering the entire programme territory and is steered by regional administrators. The Regional Development Agency of South Moravia is the administrator for the South Moravian Region.

  • small-scale projects – minimum subsidy EUR 3,000, maximum EUR 20,000
  • non-investment projects only – institutions working together
  • there must be an Austrian partner from the project territory
  • at least three criteria of cross-border co-operation must be met:

joint preparation (mandatory criterion)

joint implementation (mandatory criterion)

joint funding (optional criterion)

joint staff (optional criterion)

  • project with cross-border impact
  • project duration not exceeding 15 months (the latest end of the project 30th September 2019)
  • applications can be submitted on a continuous basis (the latest deadline of the submission 16 January 2018)

Limitations

Project support 85% - co-financing and pre-financing are necessary!
