The ERC's mission is to encourage the highest quality research in Europe through competitive funding and to support investigator-driven frontier research across all fields, on the basis of scientific excellence.

ERC grants are awarded through open competition to projects headed by starting and established researchers, irrespective of their origins, who are working or moving to work in Europe. The sole criterion for selection is scientific excellence.

Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships are intended for experienced researchers to receive support for research stays at workplaces in EU or associated countries and at workplaces in third countries (outside the EU).

The proposal is submitted by the proposer together with the mentor from the future host organization.

We invite you to an online seminar where you will learn more detailed information. The seminar will take place on April 28, 2021 at 9.30-11.30 and is intended primarily for postdocks and their supervisors. The event will include a moderated discussion with Dr. Kamila Pacovská (Center for Ethics at UPa), who significantly participated in the preparation of two successful MSCA-IFs in 2020 in the field of humanities. During the spring / summer, workshops for postdocks and their supervisors are planned, where they will get more information about the content and form of applications for MSCA-PF.
