Objectives

CITIZEN ENGAGEMENT:

Call objective: Support transnational partnership and network projects directly involving citizens. These projects should bring together a diverse range of people from different backgrounds and genders in activities directly related to EU policies, thus providing them with the opportunity to actively engage in the EU policy-making process and thus contribute to the democratic and civic life of the Union.

Projects must focus on one of the following areas:

Promoting the exchange of views on the future political priorities and challenges of the Union

Combating disinformation, information manipulation and interference in democratic debate
Promoting the active engagement and democratic participation of citizens

The lead applicant must be a non-profit private legal entity or a public higher education institution.

Supported activities: Debates, seminars, workshops, conferences, online campaigns, educational materials, training, exchange of good practices, creation of sharing platforms and others (based on the selection of thematic area).

Specifics: The project must be international. It must involve at least 2 participants (one main participant and one co-participant) from at least 2 eligible countries.

CHILDREN’S RIGHTS

Aim of the call: To support, develop and implement comprehensive policies to protect and promote the rights of the child, including the right to participation. The aim is to further respond to the current needs and challenges of children in the EU. The call pays attention to the rights of children with specific needs and vulnerabilities, including children who have fled Russia’s aggressive war against Ukraine.

Projects must focus on one of the following areas:

Children's rights in the digital age

Child involvement and participation

Mainstreaming children's rights into national and local policies

Lead applicants must be non-profit organisations. For-profit organisations may only apply in partnership with public bodies, private non-profit organisations or international organisations.

The project must involve at least 2 participants (one lead participant and one associate participant) from 1 or more countries.
