The Ministry of Health is announcing a competition for targeted support from the Ministry of Health for solving health research and development projects fulfilling the announced Program for the Support of Health Applied Research for the Years 2024 – 2030.

We ask those interested in reporting even preliminary interest to submit a proposal by 13. 2. 2026 (lorencova@fss.muni.cz).

Objectives

Subprogram 1

The researcher may only be a natural person engaged in research who, at the time of submitting the project proposal to the public competition, has an academic degree of Ph.D., its equivalent or higher

Subprogram 2

The researcher may only be a natural person engaged in research who, in the year of submitting the project proposal to the public competition, no more than 8 years have passed since the award of the academic degree of Ph.D. or its equivalent, or will obtain it no later than the date of conclusion of the contract/issuance of the decision on the project solution

Projects must be assigned to one or more objectives and ensure the fulfillment of one or more subareas, or areas, specifications of areas here.

Limitations

The start of the selected projects is January 1, 2027

The completion of the projects is no later than December 31, 2030

The expected duration of the projects is 48 months

The amount of possible recognized project costs is CZK 8.5 million.

Support for the research organization 100%, the enterprise according to the size and type of research 65-100%.

Travel reimbursements up to the maximum amount set for the applicant/recipient and co-applicant/other participant together:
• for the first year of project implementation up to a maximum of CZK 100,000,
• in subsequent years of project implementation up to a maximum of CZK 200,000.

Overhead 25%

Results of the ZD from page 28: at least one main and one secondary result must be achieved. An alternative is also to achieve at least two main results or one main Jimp-type result published in a journal with an IF in the first quartile (Q1) of the given field according to WoS.
