TA CR announcement of the THÉTA call
The public competition is aimed at supporting project proposals that should contribute to fulfilling the vision of transformation and modernization of the energy sector in the form of preparing innovative technologies, technical solutions and approaches applicable in the energy sector in the short, medium and long term, as well as creating analyses for decision-making in the energy sector and improving the regulatory framework.
Objectives
Subprogram 1 - Research in the public interest (decarbonization, decentralization, digitalization and democratization
Subprogram 2 - Energy technologies for competitiveness - focused on the preparation of technologies and solutions with rapid application in practice
Subprogram 3 - Technologies to ensure long-term sustainability of energy - complex and long-term projects that aim at complex and integral technological solutions and processes.
Applicants in PP1 and PP3 are required to report on one priority
research objective, see Annex No. 1 - Priority research objectives.
Limitations
Start of project implementation: May 2027 at the earliest and July 2027 at the latest
Duration of project implementation: 12–48 months in PP1 and PP2, 36–56 months in PP3
Latest project completion date: June 2031 in PP1 and PP2, December 2031 in PP3
Maximum amount of support per project: PP1: 15 million CZK, PP2: unlimited, PP3: unlimited
Maximum support intensity per project: PP1: 90%, PP2: 60%, PP3: 85%
PP1: mandatory application guarantor (from the list)
In PP2, at least one of the applicants must be a company.
