Preparation of the 3rd internal call Support for projects in the Proof of Concept (PoC) phase

CTT MU (Technology Transfer Office) is preparing the 3rd internal call for projects in the Proof of Concept (PoC) phase.

The aim of the sub-projects is to verify the results of applied research in terms of their practical application and preparation of their subsequent commercial use or use for the needs of society. The call is not thematically limited.

Objectives

The sub-project should contain a declaration of specific outputs/results, including the intended schedule leading to the achievement of the outputs/results and the planned budget. Each sub-project must have a research team. It is expected that the sub-projects will contribute to the systematic verification of the application potential of the achieved research and development results in cases where their final commercial use is not entirely clear or a specific partner in the application sphere is not known.

Please let me know (lorencova@fss.muni.cz) if the call might be interesting for you, that is, if you have already achieved a result of applied research, but it needs to be refined and its application potential verified for real use in practice.

Limitations

Call open: 31 August 2026
Call deadline: 9 October 2026
Duration of PoC projects: 6–18 months
Start of PoC project implementation: January 2027
TA CR funding: up to CZK 2.8M (recommended range: CZK 0.5M–1.5M)
Maximum funding intenzity for PoC projects: 80 % (20 % co-funding required)
CTT information seminar on the call: Tuesday, 8 September 2026 (online)
Presentation of project proposals to CTT: October 2026 (exact date to be specified)
