Be ready for Czech Science Foundation (GA ČR) Calls 2027. Seminar will focus on limits, specific conditions, eligibility, submission, evaluation processes and success rates in previous years. At the end of the seminar, colleagues from the Research ethics committee will answer any questions you may have about ethics in your projects.

Webinar - Open Access support at Masaryk University

The MU Open Science team has prepared a webinar on the possibilities of free open access publishing for authors at MU.

You will learn what is changing in 2026, which publishers MU is newly covering (Elsevier, APS, BMJ), how APC tokens work, what rules need to be met to obtain them and who to contact for help. There will also be space for your questions.

GA CR - call for submission of Czech-Slovenian projects based on the Lead Agency evaluation principle

GA CR, in cooperation with the Slovenian agency ARIS, is announcing a call for project proposals based on the Lead Agency evaluation principle with the expected start of the solution in 2027. GA CR acts as a partner organization in this call - projects are evaluated by ARIS.

The Czech part of the project proposal can be submitted no later than 7 April 2026, i.e. within 7 days after the official deadline set by ARIS for Slovenian applicants on 31 March 2026.

The Community Fund supports student initiatives that respond to current university challenges. This year’s theme is Water and Biodiversity – projects may be practical, educational, or community‑oriented. The call is linked to MU’s strategy for responsible water management and biodiversity support for the period 2026–2028.
